BIG W Erina

Just bought undies that had a security device. Literally copped attitude from the self-serve check out assistant for not saying "you're welcome" for removing the device. Do I really need to be grateful for being able to leave a store with paid goods sans security devices ???? Bizarre. I Honestly don't mind the self-service, but I certainly don't need an unsolicited attitude.

This place is a comfortable shopping place for all things home. I don't say that the items are of exceptional quality, but the products are far better than the average. You can find clothes, books, chocolates, toys, outdoor items, bikes and accessories, office stationeries, home video entertainment and the list goes on. They also have a party sub-store inside it, which is again great for all of your party needs. The customer service is really great and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This place must be in your shopping list if you plan to visit near Erina.

I would of preferred to email the store or company directly, however, you can only do so via a preset form which limits how much you can type When you ring a store a recording when you are on hold says you cannot ask a staff member to check if an item is in stock on the floor to buy, you have to rely on what your website says Twice now for 2 different items it says in stock in store on the website. I waste my time and petrol driving to the store and no stock on the shelves, staff say it's likely out the back and no idea when it will be on the shelves...so I have to continue to waste my time and money going back into the store until it's finally on the shelves! For one item after a week the girl at customer service went out the back and got it for me as it was on the hanger, just not moved to the floor. That was last week. I was in the store today and out of curiosity, checked and that top is still not on the floor for sale, that's 2 weeks and counting I was in the store today and online says item in stock in store - the shelf is empty! I won't be going back, I'll go somewhere else where I can ring and definitely be sure it's available to buy If you are going to have staff refuse to check the stock is actually on the floor to buy, then you must have an accurate stock availability online - time and petrol is valuable

i am appalled by a particular staff member at big w erina fair. i was shouted at by a particular elderly blonde staff member (i could not find out her name) for testing out a product before buying. i did not remove any packaging, nor did i damage the product. she saw that i am a teen and and decided to take unfair action by immediately shouting at me. aged based discrimination is not in big w!
